Thanksgiving and beyond

Been a hot minute.

Hannah’s birthday was last week. Had a small dinner together. I was trying to leave NYC around 10.30pm or so, I ended up not leaving until around 1:30am. It was a long night. Arrived in NH around 7am. Dad was already up so we had some breakfast together. Breakfast consisted of coffee and a Tim Horton donut. Woke up in time to get ready, hang with the family and gorge myself on Thanksgiving food. Pretty relaxing day… such is the holidays for me.

Dad and I headed up to fix the car the next day… new pads, new rotors, new tires… and realizing a new battery had to be added to the list. The freaking driver side rotor though, god damn. The sucker didn’t want to come over. I swear I bang on it with a 8lb hammer for at least an hour. It never budged. It did blow chunks of rust all over the place though! Then using the puller, well, we broke some more of it off! Finally we got it off… already driven nearly 400 miles on all the new stuff. So far so good. I guess it means I need to go on a road trip soon! Nice to have a smooth riding car again.

It was nice to come home and find out they had filled the hole on my street. Maybe I won’t damage my wheel, again.
