Thank you, Mom.

Tomorrow National #NursingWeek begins in the USA. (It begins on May 12 internationally) and I can’t think of a greater group of people to thank right now globally. We should honor and celebrate ALL those in the nursing profession now and years ago. And with the upcoming Mother’s Day, I can think of no other person to honor and extend my gratitude to than my mom. Even though she’s been retired, she will also be our family’s nurse. And we thank you!

Christmas Tree Trimming 2014

Well, it looks like this will be the last year of this tree. But, we’ll continue with the tradition in 2015. The tree didn’t survive storage this year and the lights are starting to go as can be seen in the video. Twiggy was quite active in the participation this year while Bowie hid himself away in his kitty-house – yes, our dog has a house intended for a cat.

Anyhow, we hope you enjoy this years video. And Geneva, myself and the dogs wish you a Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Tuckerman Ravine – April 25, 2014

Short clip showing the ravine and conditions. By far the best day I’ve ever had at the ravine. Weather calmed down in the afternoon and the conditions were popcorn like. We were able to ride out about 1/2 mile from the parking lot Ice ax and crampons were required for the final ascent, but it was well worth the effort. Great views on this day… you can see Wildcat across Pinkham Notch.

Below, you can see the line I took from the top to the bottom of the bowl.
