Experience

It’s been a minute.

A few things have been occupying a considerable amount of my time. Doing more on the evenings, when I can. Been very focused on the Beyond Colossal project. Trying this dating thing again, but it just doesn’t seem to fit for me.  Went shooting this past Saturday, and scored at 66. Again. I think the last 5 or 6 times I’ve gone I’ve gotten this score but once. Very strange. I hope to score 70 by the end of the summer… and with Jon’s wise suggestion of making sure I don’t shoot with both eyes closed, I think I can do it!

Sunday (Father’s Day) was the Iron Maiden show at Madison Square Garden. It was really freaking amazing. I had bought tickets for me, Hannah, Montana, Stella, Carmen, Tracy, Liz and Clay. We had a whole front row to ourselves. We went nuts. I definitely noticed a lot of people looking at our cluster of friends with envy at how much fun and close we were. Something to be proud of I suppose! Even with the power outage during Powerslave, Maiden was amazing to watch. They had extreme energy and really are showmen. Best show I’ve seen since the Daft Punk show in Coney Island.

I’ll be in Coney Island again this week… for the Mermaid Parade. Possibly riding in a hearse or a Cadillac! Could this be the final one? We’ll see I suppose. Very excited, I always have a great time down there.

Sunday I’ll be venturing out to Long Island to meet Emma, the daughter of Elin and Jason, who’s about 3 weeks old now. It will be here one month birthday when we get out there. Will be nice to visit with her since I haven’t seen Elin in a few weeks now.

Next weekend I’ll be heading up to NH/ME to spend a few nights at the cottage and build some energy before the final burst of work needed for the Beyond Colossal project.
