The Morning After
Am I perturbed? Indeed.
Am I justified? I have reason to believe so.
I’ll be the first to admit to being occasionally late, and sometimes show up hungover. But, I still show up. And I don’t bitch about it. I never get flack for it, either. It would appear it’s not a big deal.
Even the day I was out and stayed up until 7am, I still managed to come into work before noon. And last Friday, I was exhausted, hungover and sick, but came in ready to go. I guess I’m just a bit miffed when there is a deadline and I’m the only person who seems to acknowledge it.
I probably wouldn’t be as upset if it wasn’t about 85% of the office who was late.
