Since the trip to Europe, and even while I’ve been back to work… there are several what if questions on my mind. Nothing out of the realm of possibility, but, I’m still curious… what the result would be. It’s got me questioning a few other things, in a healthy thought provoking and productive manner. I’m not sure if anything will come of it, at least nothing substantial.

But, tonight, I wanted to make a small change. I wanted to be able to tell people what kind of work I do, without saying anything to them. And, it’s been on my mind, as well. I do have a very definitive style, and it’s very well suited for several spheres… mainly music and entertainment. I know this already, but… I think I’m becoming more comfortable with the idea, this is what I’m supposed to be doing. And now I have to really start doing it. I’ll probably keep the 9 to 5 for awhile, as it’s good business, and money. But I’m also going to take more personal time from work, where I can make moves in my life which make me really happy… doing this type of design for the people who really appreciate it.

Below is the end result. I designed and ordered, in one evening, the front and back of these business cards. It’s my design, my style, my name on ’em and they are going to show what I want to do, not what some people want me to do. I’m at the point in my career where I can pick my clients, and do the work I love.
