I was driving from my friend Liz’s house tonight… and had heard a rumor, from someone I had done some freelance with, and decided to take the long way home. Now, the long way home is really long… she lives on 96th Street, and it’s best to take the West Side highway, or the FDR. But, the long way involves this very stop and go drive down Broadway.

But, I had a very good reason for doing so. I wanted to see if the rumor was true.

It was.

In the center of Times Square, on Broadway, between 45th and 46th Streets, there it is… BIG. To the left of the Virgin Megastore, and just above the Sony Theatres, it sits.

My first billboard, in Times Square. It’s pretty sick seeing something you’ve designed, even if it’s for a cheesy NickTV band, that BIG. Even more so when it’s in one of the busiest urban environments in the world. I’m going to take a wide angle shot soon. Well, Jon S is.
