Okay… so, yesterday, I was assaulted at about 9:30am on my way to work. I was about 2.5 blocks from my house. I hadn’t even made it the full way through the song I had on my iPod by the time I made it to where I was. I got blinded side in the face, for no apparent reason other than I was white and American. I ended up going to the hospital and getting stitches in my face. Today I followed up with the police report, and there is a detective on the case, and I’m already in contact with him. I will press charges, and will tell my insurance company they need to follow up and make sure they don’t end up paying the medical bills. Little extra pressure never hurt…
