I’ve accepted the offer at Special Ops Media.
I will once again join the ranks of the 9 to 5 drones of the city! Joking aside, I am genuinely excited about working with them, and the large team of creative people I will be surrounded by. It will instigate more creative flowing for myself… something I haven’t been lucky enough to be around for quite some time. Anxiously anticipating good things.
My first two clients are Universal Music and Disney. Starting out small I see!

I received my passport renewal today. I brought it into the USPS on a Saturday, Sept 1. It took 13 business days to get there, go through processing, and be returned to me. It’s nice when things work smoothly. This is what should happen when you read instructions, and do things the proper way.
Let’s hope it’s a similar scenario with my gun permit. I submitted that yesterday.

It’s been pretty quiet around these parts.
I have been able to secure a few more places to stay overseas. Which is a money saver. I have a friend with a place in Gent who is going to let me crash there for a night or two. A night or two in Antwerp. Maybe a night in Rotterdam. And maybe a night in Amsterdam. This means I’d only really have to find a place 1 or 2 nights in Germany.
Still waiting to hear back from one place about this employment thing. They seem to be dragging their feet more than I had anticipated and I’m likely to swipe up some more freelance work in the meantime. It’s a bummer to have to keep pushing the start day, but, it’s no fault of mine. And meanwhile, they will be slowing their own work.
Maybe the tide will draw a bit tomorrow… but, there seem to be many uncertainties still floating around my life these days. I guess it keeps me positioned to be alert and perked. Reminds of the kitten I’m sitting… little bugger is about 6 weeks old, and he’s a perky guy. Every time I shift a bit, he’s all up in my face, literally, checking to see if I’m ‘OK’? Why he must lick my eye, I will never know. He’s mad cute though.
Yup.
